Steve Jobs: One of the most iconic business people that ever lived, and one of the great visionaries of the 20th and 21st centuries. It has been widely discussed and debated about what it is that made Steve Jobs such a presence. My theory: He was one of us. He didn't approach the problems of computing from the perspective of a programmer or an engineer--he was neither. Instead, he approached the problems of computing from the perspective of the people. The question was never "How can we make this work?", but "How can we make this work well?"
Maybe the people who have never embraced the Apple way will ever understand, but those of us who have are deeply thankful for the vision and execution of Steve Jobs. We love you, and thank you for everything.
